The researchers at AUT have succeeded in designing and building a tremor reduction gadget for patients suffering from essential tremors disease via adaptive electrical stimulation. Masoud Rahmati, a master’s student of MBA claimed: ”This gadget is capable of changing the parameters of current stimulation in a moment and of applying stimulation.” Mehran Mehraban, a PhD student of biomedical engineering department and Mohammadreza Shahabi, an electrical engineering’s master’s student of AUT were other members of this project.
