Members of St. Petersburg Maritime Technical University visited AUT and had a meeting with their Iranian counterparts. Both parties introduced their capacities and capabilities and the spheres they have considered for mutual collaboration. Also, the board of St. Petersburg visited the AUT Department of Marine Engineering, laboratories, and different parts of the department.

Saeedeh Debirnia, instrumental analysis laboratory technician at the department of chemical engineering, has been chosen as the “Top technician” by the Laboratory Strategic Technologies Network of the Vice Presidency for Scientific and Technological Affairs.  

Dr. Mehdi Majidpour, Associate Professor of the Amirkabir University of Technology has been chosen as “the Best Technologist of the Country” in the 23rd festival of honoring researchers, technologists, and innovators in 2022.

The national virtual reading competition of “Hasht Behesht”, based on the novel “Roots”, was held on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Dr. Iman Shabani, a faculty member of Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology, received the national award at the 21st International Royan Festival in the field of "Development of Bioactive Dopants to Design PANI-Based Conductive Scaffolds for Tissue Engineering Applications".

Ali Ramezani, a student at Amirkabir University of Technology, won a silver medal in the second national skills championship among students at universities all across the country.

The swimming competition of female students in the 3rd Shahed and Isargar Sports Tournaments ended with Ariana Fatahi from the Amirkabir University of Technology winning the gold medal in two individual group (100 meters’ freestyle and 33 meters’ backstroke). Also, Arad Bahri was able to reach the finals in Badminton competitions.  

The ping pong team of the Amirkabir University of Technology reached third place in the fifteenth sports tournaments for university students.

The Fifteenth Female Sports Olympics from different national universities in 10 sports majors was hosted by Tabriz University on April 7th to 17th.

The silver medal in female Karate competitions of Iran, zone one, universities was achieved by an AUT student.

The inauguration ceremony of the first National event for designing and manufacturing of flying cars was held on Monday, June 20th of 2022 in Amirkabir University of Technology.

The 6th International Conference on Structural Engineering will be held at AUT from November 9-10, 2022. Papers can be submitted until October 2.

This course is held at AUT. The course syllabus is compiled in four main modules and one introductory module.

The Amirkabir University of Technology hosted a three-minute national book competition to promote reading culture on Tuesday, June 10th.

The Alborz Cultural Foundation prize was given to a postdoctoral researcher and two students from the AUT (Hamed Shooshtari, Arash Qazitabar, and Hossein Moradi Moqadam).
